Askina® SilNet Plus

Askina® SilNet Plus is a two-sided silicone wound contact layer that consists of a knitted fabric coated on both sides with silicone adhesive. The double-sided silicone design facilitates its use with secondary absorbent dressings. 

The open mesh structure of Askina® SilNet Plus allows exudate to pass into a secondary absorbent dressing. The silicone reduces the risk of the secondary dressing adhering to the wound bed, thereby reducing pain during secondary dressing changes.

Askina® SilNet Plus is indicated for a wide range of exuding or non-exuding wounds or for areas with fragile skin, such as skin tears, skin abrasions, blistering, diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, venous and arterial leg ulcers, first and second-degree burns, partial and full thickness grafts, epidermolysis bullosa, surgical wounds and traumatic wounds.
