Special instruments for TTA
The TTA instruments include the following:
- Plate Bender
This instrument is used to bend the TTA plates and the eyelets in the TTA cage
- Fork Inserter
The fork inserter is used to implant the fork plate combination into the pre-drilled holes. The fork fits neatly into the insertion track and the implant combination can then be inserted using a hammer.
- Drill Guide
The drill guides are available with 4 and 8 holes. The holes have an inner diameter of 2.0 mm and are used to bore holes for the fork with a 2.0 mm drill.
- Spreader and T-Handle
With different widths of 3 mm, 6 mm, 9 mm, 12 mm and 15 mm, the spreaders are used to expand the osteotomy gap for the corresponding cage width. The spreaders are fastened to the corresponding T-hande via a screw mechanism.
- TTA pins
The TTA pins help to pre-fix the TTA Drill Guides
